Very interesting subject and will follow this with interest. I have very little technical knowledge of this subject myself and was just wondering if adding 2 stroke oil would ever effect your warranty. My car is under warranty until June 2013. Nearly all the advocates of adding two-stroke to diesel say that if your car has a DPF then you should not do it. If your car is still in warranty I'd guess it does have a DPF, a diesel particulate filter to remove part-burned fuel particles ("soot", although most of it is microparticles and not visible as smoke). The warranty question is difficult, as I doubt it would be possible for the supplier to tell if you'd been using two-stroke oil or not. Unless it was Castrol R which has a very characteristic smell

I'm with Muttley on this one, I think your car is far to new to be doing this, me and the other guy have much older type tdi engines.

Right the last couple of times I've put fuel in I haven't put any 2 stroke in. So far I've noticed the engine is that little bit noisier again but I can't decide if the car has a little bit more of an edge to the power or not. Need to keep testing.
