Uneven Disc Wear Help

Hi All...

A few months back now had new discs and pads on the front of my ibiza cupra tdi at great expense. Decided to go through Seat in the end due to knackered pins...

Anyways.... today noticed that on the driver side I don't seem to have even ware across the diameter of the disc... and now i think of it when i brake it isn't smooth like you would expect I do get some vibration...although it's not enough to worry about on its own.. car still stops fine. - But now i've seen the disc I suspect something may be wrong (warped disc?)

Could you do me the biggest of favours and have a look at this pic and let me know what you think? Am i within my rights to go back to Seat and have this corrected?

Thanks once again.

Lee

You could try going back to Seat, but if you just asked for new discs and pads, with nothing else, then that's what they have done! Plus it's been several months since they carried out the work.

Looks to me like it's a sticking caliper piston or the pad is sticking within the caliper at the bottom and so not moving when you are applying the brakes.

Hi Willsy33.

The Discs and Pads were in perfect working order prior to the new discs and pads being fitted... Plus I had the £70 Pins and Shims kitted fitted. Have rung Seat who are going to look at it now so will see what happens and post back.
