No reverse gear

Hi all,
Recently had my clutch done by my local garage and as soon as I got home my pedal box went I know that is a common problem but I managed to find a new one and get it all installed, however now I've got no reverse gear? All other gears work fine as drove it home, bearing in mind I didn't have to reverse to get it out of the garage. Very confused as to what it could be and I don't see any other threads about this here :/
T.I.A

Also clutch feels really light and pedal seems to clunk when I push it down

Have you checked clutch adjustment at the pedal?
I bought my arosa with just having had the clutch changed, first and reverse was very difficult to select. After adjusting the gear linkages it has improved vastly, seems that where the cable bolts to gear selector should be at the middle.
