I'm getting a set on friday as my wipers are knackered anyway (plus a new set of bosch ones is near enough that money anyway!)

Yep I paid £20 in Helfrauds for a set of Bosch ones and these are much better.

I did ask my local Renault dealer about organising a group buy, got a discounted price of £24 for 5+ sets, but they said they wouldn't be able to post them out!

And I can't reach the parts dept at the Renault dealer in MK!

Sent them an e-mail and they said please can you ring the parts dept :censored:

Got a call from the dealer i placed the order with for my blades, message on answer machine "your blade has arrived sir" err i hope he means blades, can someone confirm the packaging, IE bosch or renualt one box or two, sealed etc. want to be armed ready.

One sealed pink Renault box! ;)
with both blades inside

if you get handed a large brown box that looks like it would have 10 blades inside and you are asked to pay £30 odd then do so and run :) he probably just handed you 5 sets - been done believe me ;)

Paul

I picked up my wipers on friday, and fitted them in Renault's car park in a few minutes.

I am so impressed with these wipers i'm lost for words! These are without doubt the best wipers I have ever had....They give a totally silent wipe which is smear free.

I've lost about 1.5-2 inches "wipe area" on the passenger side, but gained that on the drivers side.

They don't sit awkwardly or look out of place at all. I'll get some pics up on Monday hopefully.

Many thanks to Fl@pper for all the info!

Cheers for this Fl@pper.

Just got some fitted last night as the ones that came with the car have been smearing for sometime.

Like VanBasten the passenger side blade doesn't quite fit flush at the very edge (last inch or so), but the benefits of the part of the window that it does clear (i.e. the driver's side), is well worth putting up with this - or I could just trim the end if I can ever be bothered.

A nice upgrade on standard Halfords ones that end up useless after a couple of months.

Back from the dead
When I was in Hellfrauds looking at the selectively discounted GPS systems I saw a pack of Bosch wiper blades called Aero Super twins (I think), and they were 19" and 21" for the VW Bora.

Will these retro fit onto my wiper arms, or will the hooky bit on the end mean that they cant slide on.

They are listed as being the same length as the Leon ones in the Halfords manual, but for £30 didn't want to leave it to chance.

I wouldn't mind buying some Bora arms if thats all thats needed.
