Oil and Oil Filter

My Ibiza Cupra R is due a service,can anyone recommend which oil and oil filters are best to use?Also how do you find out which number your car is out of the 200 made?

I think you'll get a million and 1 different opinions on what oil to use, so good luck on which to choose.
Personally, filter I buy from main dealer and oil I get from gsf, its not a top make but covers all specs needed for these engines. Is the same oil that the main dealer was going to supply me but the more advanced version. Can't remember which make though so much help to you, sry.

If you haven't got a key fob with you car in the shape of an R, with your number printed on the back then I think you'll never find out which R it is.
Think many have tried.
Oh and there was more than 200 made, think it was nearer 300. but still only 75 in the country so pretty god dam rare really...

The best oil for the biza cupra tdi is "Unil",no doubt about that.

Well i have the letter that came with the car when bought new an it says it number 199

Na think nads may hav bought Craig1985's car as i seen it forsale on here a good few wks back
