Engine mount bolts snapped after cam belt change

Hi guna bring back old thread but was it cam belt side that snapped. And which part was ot mount to chassis. Or mount to engine?

From memory, one of the engine block-to-engine mount bolts is inside the run of the cambelt. So, yes, you do.

As Muttley said the mount runs inside the belt path so will need removing.

The part number for the Mount is 1J0199262 this is followed by 2 letters depending on the engine type.

You will need a couple each of bolts N90596906 and N10209605

They are one time use stretch bolts and for something that holds the engine in place you don't want to risk re-using for the sake of a few quid.

Many places do the mounts, ECP, GSF, TCP, Autodoc and loads more. Price around the 35-50 mark.
