Well they arrived this morning, some quick snaps:

First impressions are really good, they appear far better made than the other kind I previously had, built-in LED's in the angel eyes and sidelights too, they look great!

Hopefully the H1 HID bulbs will slip straight in (kit has been ordered), I have headlamp washer jets to fit to the front bumper too, so with electric adjustment and washers they should be 99.99% road legal!

hello, just came across your thread few hours ago.. and i'm actually watching your engine bay pics and the car itself over and over again. one sweet ride m8!

just asking, where did you ordered the headlights, and how much? i came across in ebay, but looks slightly different than yours.. and i'm quite surprised that your kit's version has adjustable electrical headlamps?

I sold my leather Recaro interior and went back to normal fabric Cupra interior (although I picked up a newer 2002 interior. I much prefer the fabric TBH, at some point I will fit bucket seats, probably later in the year.

I hope to fit the headlights on Sunday or Tuesday, weather permitting, HID kit won't be here until Tuesday anyway.

I removed the H1 bulb from the projector tonight and there appears to be more room around the bulb than my old ones, so the HID bulb should slip straight in without any problem.

Just noticed a sticker on the lights that says "HID bulbs not allowed" ... wonder why as HID bulbs run cooler than halogens?

thats very weird, I wonder why?!

maybe its so stop the head lamps from steaming up, due to the hole drilled into the back cover for the cable from the HID bulb to connect to the ballast... this could let moisture in and thus steam up the head lamps

or maybe because HID bulbs are that much longer than halogen bulbs (H1 in particular), that it could change the beam pattern?! complete guess though! lol

do those angel eyes not have a h7 fitment for the dipped then rob? i quite like the look of those angel eyes myself, but curious as to what bulbs will go into them? if they are H7s for the dipped beam, how much work is involved in getting HIDs to fit as with the others i believe there was some cutting involved?

H1 bulbs for dipped and main in these. Should be no work for these, the HID bulbs should go straight in with no cutting, will know for sure next week, but someone in Europe with the same headlamps has fitted HID's with no issues, went straight in.
