Wow, that's lots a lot of money in 1,000 miles!

Prefer the seat colour on the S... but the keep fit windows would put me off

I actually like the black wheels with the white paint, although I am not usually a fan of black wheels. I think they work well with the black door handles and wing mirrors. I thought the steel wheels would suit the character of the car but they look rubbish, especially on a white one.

I like the idea of a really basic, cheapish car as a long term ownership prospect with few luxuries, such as remote locking and electric windows and mirrors, to lead to expensive repair bills in the future. I couldn't do without aircon, though. I had spotted that 'S' car before and thought that it looked just the job as an alternative to a bus pass in my dotage. :)

Decided it would have to be the SE if I go for one, think missing electric windows/ mirrors and remote central locking would annoy me too much! Still I think whichever you go for they represent unbelievable value for money

On very short journies (under 5 miles) in the cold weather around 50 mpg

Wow, that's really good!

I remember only getting 50mpg out of my Ibiza doing long motorway journeys on a hot day

Whats the max you've seen out of it, guess it must get into the 60s easily enough?

I haven't done any real long runs yet, but I'd expect to get over 60 for those

That was one of the reasons I went for an Up! as I was concerned the Mii residuals would slide. The Up! is supposed to be having a price increase of £500-£600 in January, solid white paint is already £200 extra. I assume maybe VAG what slightly wider differences in terms of pricing.

I only paid 8K for my Take Up! with Maps & More and comfort pack. The trade in is around 7.3K still though.
