Spent some more money this month. I've got a liquid gauge, glow shift boost gauge and nomad pillar, polished power steering cap, polished dipstick and a jabba sport heat shield inbound shortly from John (M20FES) and some leon polished door shut guards on the way too, so these with the arm rest should keep me busy over Christmas! The heat shield should go nicely with the badger5 tip I'm planning on getting and a pipercross filter. Can't wait to be home now!

Good to see you got another mk1 mate :)

Like what you've done so far and some great plans, bet you can't wait to get stuck in once back from work! On the Pipercross C0187, it's a good filter and I looked for a black one for ages myself.

You're right there I can't wait! Going to be a shock going from 35 degrees to probably in the minus' when I am back though! Yeah that's the one I'm watching on eBay at the moment, now someone has recommended it I will go ahead ad buy it. Will I need 76mm ID or 80?
Got lots to keep me busy when I'm home, I've always wanted a momo steering wheel, for what reason I don't know but I may treat myself after this trip.

It was bad last time from 45 to 20 but this time will probably hurt haha! Cheers, I do want the wheel. It's 200 schnods for either a momo team 280 or 300 with the boss. Watch this space.

Few little updates, I've purchased a pipercross filter, power flex dogbone mount and finally got round to buying the 2.0 tfsi coil packs and adapters, treated the sump to a magnetic sump plug and the engine bay has a throttle body cover on its way! The misses has got me some team heko wind deflectors for Christmas too.
Currently negotiating with someone for a 3" blueflame turbo back res, decat. If this falls through I'm going to get a scorpion decat and a cobra non res cat back before I'm home so it's ready to go on. This negotiation will be the decider between stage 1 and 2, as I'm not going to pay twice I'll just wait for a fmic if I get the blueflame. Can't wait to get home!

Just a quick one, if anyone reading this has a spare bam inlet mani, cam cover that you want to get rid of, I'm after these to get powder coated. Badly after a double din console too....

Josh's MK1 Leon Cupra R 225

Cheers, I am currently deployed in the Middle East, surrounded by sand lol. The plate is from a website called fancy plates, just type that in on google. One of the other LCR lads directed me to it when I had my fr tdi.

Edit - got the blue flame exhaust for a reasonable price in the end. Stage 2 then....

May have been me who directed you to fancy plates, it's where I got my 3/4 one. Been very happy with it.

If your reg ends in zro then it was you. Had a picture of the front of yours on my phone for a while before I got my plate. I'm a lot happier with this one I've just got with the boarder, the other one looked weird. I personally haven't had any police attention because of it but I know people have.

Nice! Good work on the brakes.

Cheers.

I live in Tuffley. My brother is looking after it for me whilst I'm away and he works at Broughtons in Cheltenham so you might see it there? I know of a couple of LCR's around the area, 3 or 4 maybe. Cheers, it will change a lot between mid Dec and mid Feb as I'm home to spend some $$. Do you have a RR?

I think I've made my mind up on a toyosports 550x225x64mm fmic. I don't like the idea of the huge 600x300x76mm ic so this will have to do. Half tempted to buy it now, but with an exhaust to fit and plans for a v2.2 I'm going to do the sensible thing for once and wait until January. Possibly get the car in with Bill for a stage2 end of Jan if he's free.
