The current general consensus seems to be on Nighteye LED headlight bulbs.
Loads of good reviews and people praising them on the various forums and Facebook groups.

I've yet to try them myself but seeing as the MOT regulations are getting tighter in May meaning HIDs are s no-go it'll mean I'll be in the market for a change so I'll give these a go soon.

Personally I would stay away from bulbs with fan to dissipate heat.
That kind of light power (100W) would generate intense heat trought the cooler and that fan will make a lot of spin work...and noise...and maybe your headlight will became hot.

The second point you have to be aware is that 100w will provide a lot of glare even if it is aligned. But you have to test it to be sure.

And MOT could suspect so much light power... :banned:

Ive got Nighteye, but be aware that using LED's is strictly speaking illegal, as our cars weren't designed for them. They should be an MOT failure, but depends on the tester
