My local Seat dealer quoted £405 incl. waterpump, parts, labour and vat. Which isnt too bad, although I'm taking mine to an independant on monday as its cheaper and I know he'll do a top notch job
seems strange that they wont do it as i have posted earlier i used a VW specialist they took it in straight away
mine is an 04 tdi 150 just done 74k and has no history of a belt change should i get it done now - and what can i expect to pay for the job?
booked in with specialist vag garage for tuesday replacing the water pump same time £300ish inc vat
got told 80,000 or 4 yrs by seat dealer, who i bought the car from new.
The 4 years regardless of milage I guess is cause the belts perish over time
interv is 80k miles or 4years
OK Me again car has just gone over 124k when should I look at doing the belt again?
