Hey guys

I have a Seat ibiza mk5 2010 plate 1.4.

I need a new wheel lock key as currently think it is lost.

Just called Seat and they said can't replace key. That it would need a complete new set of bolts and a key @ £67.49 and then also they will try take them off with their own key but if for some reason their (I guess universal key) does not work I would have to pay labour for them to get it off, which was a cost of "Depends on how long it takes to get them off"

Surely I can just buy a replacement key. And failing that surely I can just have them try take out my lock bolts and put in regular ones instead if being a new locking kit of bolts?

Can this be done? I thought these keys were made individually for each car???

Kia too, try a different dealer, some have master sets and can remove any bolts and then order a replacement removal tool or just fit a non locking bolt to each wheel, many tyre specialist shops have universal removal tools so there is that option.
