17" Wheels with ET38 Offset WORRIED

Hey Guys,

I'm picking up some wheels tomorrow with the size 17" 7j ET38

I believe they have come off a 6L Cupra and i'm a bit worried that the offset is too negative and it'll hit the arches, anyone have any experiences of this before? :blink:

can you let me know what wheels you're running.

17 X 7 alloys on my daughter's late 2009 Ibiza SC 1.4 85PS are ET43 - if that helps at all?

So the et43 don't rub, and the et38 will be 5mm further outboard no?

Sorry, I should have made it clear that the factory fitted 17" wheel option on Ibiza SC is what is fitted to my daughter's Ibiza.

So yes, the ET38 is only 5mm different to them.

Thanks guys, from what you've said ET38 being only 5mm further out from stock won't be aggressive enough to make a big enough difference
