Am I missing part of my undertray...?

12 plate 1.2 TDi Ecomotive.

This is shot is of the underside at present...

...I'm thinking that I might be missing some of the undertray, in that some plastic piece ought to be covering the gearbox/insulation material (which is partially hanging down) ?

Any ideas?? Thanks :)

never seen that thing, mine doesn't have it... 1.4 85hp gasoline engine. maybe the diesels are different I don't know, but that doesn't seem right.
are you sure that is not from another place? became loose and ended up there

that is the engine, the gearbox is on the right.

That piece of insulation material is definitely a factory fitted piece. Its clipped on with plastic attachments, I thought there should be some plastic covering that joins up with the rest of the undertray?

no I edited my post, it's a 1.4 16v gasoline 85Hp.

maybe that is to protect the fap?

I've no idea what it protects. The question I'd like answered, am I missing a piece of the undertray or is the sump and gearbox without some form plastic covering??
