...when mechanically identical Skoda Rapid's have had 2 letters out recently for mods to steering and the sticky accelerator pedal.

The steering software is whatever, but the pedal replacement is for safety.

Why havent the dealer network or SEAT UK informed me?

I have posted a warning in the Toledo forums for other owners, but I shouldn't have to.

Well on Briskoda the accelerator issue is one where power doesn't cut when you lift off - so I'd call that "safety related" at least.

The accelerators ar being replaced with a different part.

Weird, as it's not listing them on VOSA's site for the Skoda either.

Does your Toledo suffer from the same symptom? If so, just take it back to your nearest dealer

I dont remember my Toledo having this problem, but its been a few months since I've seen it - 5000 miles away at the moment.

SWMBO is driving it but she wont take a car to the garage unless it fails catastrophically - eg a wheel falls off or similar.
