anybody know much about the GTRS garrat illimanator turbo??? anybody have 1 or know anybody that has 1. im wanting to get it fitted to my ibiza mk4 cupra 20vt

any help appreciated! as im so confused :headhurt: !

ive searhed there website but to no avail :( cant find anything on turbos :think: ive emailed them anyway to see what they can do for me! does any1 on here have a ibiza with this turbo on it???

nah i will be buying the turbo from atp just was considering getting the turbo fitted there! TOMORROW no can do mate if you want to buy the turbo;s and the clutches togetha as i dont get paid til the 16th of next month so will be that sorta time :shrug:

im just trying to get some info on this turbo from some1 but the manufacures website so i can get a customers opinion on it and make certain that this turbo will fit my car no problem!

do they do a ko4 and a ko3 version of the gtrs?

if you where worried about internals, why wont you just push it to the max? which would be 320 - 330ish i would guess??

running 310 could blow a rod the same as running full boost could. its all pot luck.

but over much hard running over time, a rod could blow just as easy as running the extra 15 - 20...

im not wanting to do internals YET ANYWAY so mapping the car to 310bhp is obviously going to be LESSISH likely to cause a problem than pushing 330bhp on internals. im going to try and keep the 300-310bhp as reliable as possible!

they only do the 1.8t transverse clutch thatl fit i think? then their all vw-audi ones. do they sell the sach 1's

just get a cutom map and ask for a very progressive torque/boost curve. 20psi should be enough.

a hard torque spike is what puts stress on the rods.
