Indicator stays on (left)

Hi guys!

When I initially drive off and my doors lock my hazard lights flash for about 10 seconds! I've kinda put up with this but now sometimes the left indicator stays on, not flashing just permanently on, sometimes does not go out when I lock the car also!

Any help appreciated !!

Hi mate. This is the wrong section really, you're better off posting any future issues to the main mk1 section as then more people will see it there.

I think i can help on this one though. The relay that controls the indicators is behind the hazard warning switch on the dash. If you open the cup holder or remove the radio you can release it pretty easily.

Hi mate I've replaced the hazard switch unit and still the same, I'll try posting it on that section now
