Hello,

I used to be on this forum quite a bit with my old mk3 Ibiza. Since then I have owned many different things, focus st, TTS, fabia vrs, audi a4 Quattro etc.

I currently have a Megane RS250 that I use on track and should hopefully pick up a Seat Exeo this week for daily duties, so I will be back on here!

:)

Hey,

Picked up the Exeo the day before Christmas Eve. 6 hour round trip but came back with an Exeo sport estate in metallic grey, not sure of the official colour name.

Nav
sport
leather
unmarked alloys, with four new matching (yet cheap) tyres
No VAG emissions update installed
2 owners
67k miles

£5k

Non heated seats which I wanted but it ticked a lot of other boxes. Well impressed with it so far. No rattles, comfortable, looks good, everything works etc.

51mpg on the 3 hour journey back home.

Already bought the normal; bulbs, mats and boot net etc.

Must'n ruin this car as it's meant to be daily. :D

I use mine as my daily car, performs outstanding in the role doing roughly 1000 miles a week. Very wise getting one without the update. Mine has now reached 150k and has only required routine maintenance. If you can stretch to it I thoroughly recommend replacing the tyres with Michelin Cross Climates.

sorry to hijack the thread, but I am currently looking at getting those tyres. Have you any experience with them in warm&dry conditions too?

I'm looking at getting one of these at the weekend. Can someone tell me exactly what the VAG emissions update is? And how would i know if this has been done?
