Suitable?

I purchased this HID Kit and fitted it last Saturday. Worked perfectly but yesterday my Driver Side came on, faded and was off by the time I got home. Turned the lights off and on again and it worked.

Today it didn't work at all. Swapped the ballasts over and the driver side worked so it's not the bulb.

Already sorting a replacement ballast but is this a deeper issue?

Method: I can't post pics (sorry) but for the Driver Side there a hole in the black metal trim at the front of the engine bay near the headlight. There is an awkward lip on the trim though but I just chocked this with some 10mm foam pvc and bolted the ballast through the hole and foam. My passenger side is inside the black casing you have to remove before you can get to the case where the lights are. Just bolted this into the left section. Was purpose-built for a ballast. Haha.

I fitted hids to my m2 Toledo v5 the weekend but I done it the correct way and retro fitted projector lamps into the oem headlights ( when u just put hids into a halogen mirrored headlight u just blind crap out of oncoming cars as the beam patten and cut off is way off and dangerous for other road users) here's pics of mine

I can highly recommend both kits the his are great no flicker and nice pure white light and very bright . a guy at work has a BMW z4 with OEM his and side by side mine are brighter . it tool a good few hours to do as splitting these lights is a pain so ended up taking the dremmel to them and tiger seal them back together
