just asked at dealers myself £75 for the foam £176 for the actual seat cover, at least there still available.
just wondered can you swap the seat bases over, passenger to drivers seat or is that not possible due to winding mechanism?
Or failing that would the seat cover swap over on its own as the passenger side usually has less wear?

thanks

I am wondering the same thing.

Both my front seats are thin on the door side - would be easiest and cheapest to simply swap the cushions/covers around.

Has anyone done this??

Thanks Machman - I pulled both my seats out as described in the excellent instructions at the start of this thread, washed the covers and returned the passenger cushion and cover to the driver's seat and the driver cushion and cover to the passenger's seat.

While I was at it I repaired the hole in the (door side wing of the) seat foam by cutting out an appropriate size chunk from the rear underside on the seat and contact glued it into the hole. Tidied it up with a very sharp blade - filled the hole I made in the rear underside with some standard mattress foam and contact glue... and now my seats look as good as new! Not a penny spent :D

Sorry - no pictures of the process.
