Hi, I've owned a CR TDI 170 for the last 6 months, it's had an intermittent misfire since I got it. Initially I thought this was an injector issue but with no codes and all injectors read the same resistance plus it's still running (runs great minus the occasional misfire which is intermittent) I'm thinking its a wiring issue.
The car can cut out when cold if I have to accelerate harder than usual (up hills etc) but only in the first few minutes.
Before Biting the bullet and putting it into a garage to possibly need a wiring loom I'm wanting to check all the earth cables. As far I know it has 3?
I've checked/cleaned the one onto the fuse box, I've heard there is one on the exhaust but would like to know exactly where it is plus if there is another one, where is it?
If anyone else has had any similar issues or other things to check please feel free help out.
It's had injector cleaner and it's not a DPF related issue.
Thanks,
