Front fogs coming on with auto lights/dipped

Hi all

Have a bit of an odd issue. Some of the time if I have my lights set to auto, the front fogs will be lit too. If I then switched to dipped beam they stay on (so not just an auto lights issue). Just to confirm that I've checked and my fogs aren't pulled out to the on position.

This isn't all the time, and it's hard to tell when it's they're on, generally I can only tell when pulling up behind someone.

Just a bit concerned as I know the police can pull me for having them on

Any ideas what the cause could be would be appreciated

Thanks

Is it both of them? You sure it's not just the cornering lights? They are used for that function, they will come on when you indicate left or right or if you turn over a certain amount I think.

Thanks for the reply - now I've noticed them I'm paying more attention. I have seen them come on when indicating today.

I'm sure when I pulled up behind someone on Saturday I noticed them both on - will keep an eye on it.

If it is the cornering lights they will both come on in reverse.
