Changing the steering Weight on a MK4 ibiza

I'm also having this problem although even after switching engine off and back on again i'm having trouble changing some codes?

Hello today i wanted to change main... it was at 10111 way too too light, vague and irresponsive steering, it is a Ibiza 1.4 petrol 2006.. should be safe to change it to 10151 instead??? will create any problem to the car?
