Hi all HELP needed

I have a 2007 seat leon tdi 170 fr the problem I have is when driving after 10mins or so when it’s warmed up when accelerating hard under load in 3rd from 2000rpm it pulls fine on boost and then when it get to 3000rpm it cuts out splutters for a split second then keeps holding back on off on off in 3rd change into 4th hard on the throttle holding back cutting out not boosting properly and the same in 5th
I have had the glowPlug light and engine management light come once when I kept my foot down when it was cutting out I’ve also had it plugged into a vcds and no fault codes shown had a run on a dyno with car plugged in dpf was showing ok injectors showing ok so the garage didn’t no what was wrong either the car drives fine when not on boost

Any Help would be appreciated

You need to do a vcds test (blocks 4 and 11), from that you can see what the engine is requesting and then actually receiving during the run. Boost, Air and Fuel can all be examined and point you to the problem area.

thank you for the information and replying I have also been reading that people have had the same symptoms as I’m having and it could be the exhaust temp sensor so I’m going to get it booked in to a garage so they can check

Not yet I did have it plugged into a vcds and got a fault code of p0234 006 (boost pressure regulation limit exceeded over boost)so reading up on it it could be sticky turbo vanes I’ll have a look at the weekend and let you no
