one question was this garage some back street dodgy guy??? or was it a big garage, i can safely say that if i bought diesel from a garage and my car stopped running i would take it back and get them to fix it

Exactly - I hope you have had strong words with them and asked them to at least contribute to some of the repair bills?

hi mate i had the same problem with my ibiza, i put a drum of diesel in and there must of been something in it, i got about 2 mins up the road and it died, i got it going again and went straight home it then died again, i took it to my work and drained all the fuel out of it and blew all the fuel lines out with a air line put some new clean fuel in bleed it up now it runs sweet as a nut i havent had any problems

if i was u i would do this urself because garages want a fortune

and get the garage where its at now and get them to refit £100 ish isnt bad for refitting , as ive been told their a PITA to do

my friends set are from a golf, with codes 0414 720 007 on them

are these compatible, with my engine , ringing around and no one can really help

cheers

your fine with that you were given and i said.
etka gave me that and i think the link confirms the part number for you.
just shows the how injector pump broken down

i should have tidied up my posts so not to confuse.

What has a dealership said?

what was the full part number they gave you?
can see what etka says, but bear in mind the dealer will be able to say if the part offered has been superseeded by another which i won't be able to tell.

Hi. The number off the injectors are 0414 720 039. The dealer said mine was 079 which suggests mine has the earlier injectors as listed above. Would anyone do then they guy at garage where my car is thought they were all the same ?

What about the people who uprated their nozzles have they/you kept same nozzle type

Cheers
