believe you got sfs kit aint ya chris , whats your views any probs

yeh I do have the SFS kit, my only problem with the kit is that mine was rubbing in 3 places....the biggest rub was down below the oil filter (my fault as I should of taken the metal bracket off that was holding the OEM hoses in place) - and the two other places were rubbing on the brake fluid reservoir cap (doesnt rub now as the EGR race pipe has lifted it off the brake fluid cap) and was rubbing where the two coolant hoses come from the coolant tank over the intercooler hose, again the EGR race pipe has made it clear them pipes now.

I think jonjay has had problems with the hoses because he is running lots of boost, I think SFS have said some of the hoses were too soft....??

How the heck are you guys getting the 2 bolts which join the smaller pipe from exhaust into the EGR off?

I had a go at this a couple of weekends ago but with any combination of wobble extension or short socket I couldn't get access to either of these bolts, and clearly one of them blocks access to the 3rd EGR/ASV housing bolt.

Does a normal cranked allen key fit? I must admit I only tried sockets, perhaps as they're smaller they fit?

After 143k I'm sure mines a bit choked up in there!

Thanks
Chris

I just about managed with very short allen keys. It's such a tight area to get ur hand and a allen key in.

I managed to get mine off today i found that the pipe those 2 bolts connected to has another 2 bolts at the other end which are alot easier to reach then u can take the whole unit off. after removing mine i have never seen so much build up in one place before and the car has only done 47K.
