By all means, someone make it happen. I say Baz should organise it seeing as he is finally using the RAF Ned Racer (ex dust collector for many years :p)

I would maybe take part at Knockhill - i ain't organising it though :)

 it's not of retirement is it f--k me

F**k that i'll just let you all know what track days/nights i'll be attending! Knockhill's or Trackscotlands open pit ones are the best i'd say.

I was at a meet last night that was arranged through facebook, the page is Always Stay Static.
Think it is mainly based in fife but there were around 60/70 cars there last night and people had travelled from Dundee and Glasgow. They have weekly meets and another page is N/A Nonsense which is worth a look at.

I know one of the guys who started that always stay static, think it was their first ever meet. Kirkcaldy prom is always popular for meets anyway I think. The n/a nonsense racing ones are ok, most of them are held at the dockyard in rosyth just down the road from me but people always end up driving like arses which can ruin it

It was there second meet :), first one was down at Aberdour beach. The turn out was pretty good this time that's why it had to be changed to the prom. Hopefully it is a regular thing as it was pretty well organised.

We won't ever get a national meet sorted if nobody is willing to agree on what/where it is and if nobody is willing to organise it.

People won't go to watch the odd SEAT on a track at Knockers, and as mentioned, nobody will commit to paying to put their car on and it is too big to have everyone together in one place.

Thats what makes Crail a great place to have a meet as its small enough, cheap enough and more people will be willing to participate. Sure, it isn't perfect, and some may not like it, but you won't please all the people all the time.

Alternatively, there was a national meet at Pitlochry years back which worked ok for about 30 people.

I don't mind assisting in organising a national meet again even though i don't actually have a SEAT any more. The SEAT meets at Crail have always been successful up til now :)

Those who want a Knockhill meet, fire on and get it organised :D

Has this already been? I'm quite slow so bare with me lol, I am up for going anywhere though I've never raced and my car isn't the quickest but I'm up for the fun :)
