Ibiza fr tdi front caliper sliders

So am changing my calipers ad the fronts are knackered. I've got some new ones and new sliders bolts. Does it matter which slider bolt goes where? As in I have one short and one long for each caliper and one has like a roller on the end the other is solid with a flat edge.

When I took my 1.8T FR Ibiza apart last weekend the short ones were in the bottom (I think!) and the long at the top. Oh and I sheared the bolts for the caliper brackets putting it back together so now have to find a replacement wheel bearing housing :-( Pretty sure they will only fit one way round anyway. Make sure they are well greased when you put them back together.
