Saw a pair of MK5 golf GTI front calipers for sale and been offered them , I was wondering if these will be a straight bolt on with bigger discs or will I need adapters?
Going on a 2007 1.8t fr Ibiza.

Calipers I think are 288mm on a golf gti which is same size as my standards? Or are golf gti ones 312?

Golf GTI 1.8T | Golf 130/150 TDI | Golf V5 150 | Seat Leon 130/150 TDI and 20VT

The Front brakes are 288mm x 25mm Vented Discs, 54mm ATE single piston calipers

Anyone know the Ibiza sizes?

Hi
Only thing I can say is that when changing disc size you usually have to change the carriers aswell. Or you could probably get away with buying bigger carriers and use old calipers on bigger discs. Do know that some Porsche brembos are compatible with VW SEAT SKODA and Audi. Usually just an adapter is required to replace the carriers.
All makes of VAG vehicles are very simular. Look for Leon FR which have 312 front 288 rear or cupra's I think are 330 and 310.. Porsche 998 or 996 for leons so assume fit Ibiza with adapters. Can have 340 front and around 320 rear.
Just need to do some research on comparability of other makes.
Unless changing to brembos or rs4 s3 etc you will still have single piston calipers.
