Are these any good?

Any thoughts!

Possible pros

i.e. Will they help avoid car door dings when parked.
Will they keep the car cleaner by reducing wheel spray marks.
Make it easier to clean the roof.
Easier to get in and out

Cons
Makes car wider
Reduces ground clearance
Easy to damage.
Can not use a car jack to change wheel

This style

advises not drilling

I can't say I've had the urge for them, but then I haven't had the urge for sticky bits on the car either on the sides, front and back. I use £10 Wickes steps for car washing although for £12 or so Aldis currently have more heavy duty ones in ;).

I'm sure it would look Precedential with running boards :).
