Is this because you have the road tracking on your car?
I asked Al about this today. He said the rollers software is being updated for the road tracking cars next week and they will be good to go well before the RR Day.

May be worth a quick call to awesome to confirm?

Bit of a dumb question, but would the fact my clutch slips mean I can't RR the car? Would love to get it on the rollers!

Ha! Crossed wires me thinks.
What was actually said was with regards to the 'Intelligent Charging System' employed on the later Audi A5 and S5 models where when the battery is near to full, it cuts the alternator out until it is required again.

Hope this helps!

Also - Come on guys! Get some payments down!

Hmm, Running it on the rollers probably won't help matters as we will load the car up from low revs in 4th Gear and allow it to 'rev out.

If the clutch is slipping your unlikely to get a relative figure (I won't say accurate figure because that's too precise for some ), if it slips during the run the dyno software will record where it slips but the figures will be a bit iffy.

Depends how bad its slipping and at what point, low rpms or high rpms.

Its generally a quick and painless process to run a car on a dyno, and Awesome have always been nothing but extremely professional when they run their dyno days.

Its recommended that any car running on a dyno is in good condition, its got all its fluids up to level, e.g. coolant and oil not low. Mechanically they should be sound, tyres should be inflated to their optimum recommended road pressures.

The operator will generally know pretty much straight away on his warm up runs if a car is giving him problems. If he feels the car is compromised, running badly or slipping badly he'll just abort the run.

In that case I will give it a miss and get a new clutch first as 4th is the worst for the slip

Thanks for that! Time to spend a grand on an uprated clutch set up then
