Seat Leon AUX problem

Hi Guys, Picked up my 08 leon last night.
sorted out the playlist for my first commute today.... denied.

Did anybody get the the bottom of why there is an aux cable to a stereo with no aux on/off option?

What stereo do you have? Mine says cd/aux on the middle button along the top row.

Here's a quick vid I just made of how to activate aux in. First press Prog, then select the right arrow, then aux and very quickly go to the left and right arrows above the volume button. This toggles aux on or off. Hit prog again once finished and now when you hit yhe aux/cd button it should show aux first and then in a second push cd

I have tried the prog button, the car came with instructions for the stereo which say the same.

The issue is that when you press the prog button and move along to the end of the menu the AUX option doesn't come up.

seems some people have had the same problem over the years looking back up the thread. Just wondered if they ever got it fixed.

Is a VAG coding issue for the stereo £30-£40

Shame it's not a quick free fix, but never the less hopefully 30-40 doesn't kill your wallet
