El cheapo rims?

Mods please note this is NOT a for sale thread but a request for help.

I am after a very very cheap set of 18" alloys for the Cupra. I have looked around but can't seem to find anything. Just missed out on a set of RS6 style alloys. I am going to Czech Republic in December there and will be getting winter tyres (legal requirement) so just need some cheap alloys (£100.00 to £150.00) to slap the tyres on for the trip. If anyone spots anything or knows of someone getting rid of a set please let me know. I would be forever gratefull.

Just had a search for ya

These seem pretty cheap and they come with tyres which you could sell to make money back on

Why not a set of 17's with winter rubber, much cheaper for you.

As said a set of 17s is a lot cheaper and probably easier to get. I bought a cheap set of 17s for mine. Take a look at my rr thread...

I've got the original 17's that were on my FR if you wanted to borrow them? don't really want to sell them as I may want to put them back on the car if I eva sell it.

its not a problem fella, they're just sitting out the back anyway. you're north london right? I could either bring them down to work (welwyn garden city) and you could get them (8-6ish mon-fri) or you could pop up to milton keynes on the weekend or after work? they do have tyres on them so if you could swap them back once your done that would be sweet. when do u need them?

Could pop through on a weekend I guess and yeah will pop the tyres back on when done. Only going in December so still have time. Can you give the tyre sizes for them so I can get the winter tyres so long? Also need the load and speed ratings.

Wow, that's so nice of you, Jimbo. Honestly, things like that don't happen too often. You get a rep from me for being so generous.
