TSI gearbox rattle (manual)

Hey again peeps. Noticed a little rattle when shifting in low gears in my 1.4tsi sounds lumpy and rattley from neutral to 1st, 2nd and third. It feels smooth but having the windows down i notice it badly. Im gonna book it in at seat chadderton (warranty) but id like to be armed with info if anybody can help? Also is there anyway of checking gearbox fluid? Ta

It looks like all manual gearboxes are the same, the filler plug is on the side of the gearbox. Remove it and fill the gearbox slowly until the fluid starts to overflow out of the filler hole.
