Never trust anyone else to wash my car! Nothing like a nice gritty sponge

Couldn't agree more! Took my Corrado into VW to be serviced once and I specifically asked them not to wash it. What did they do, yes wash it. Some lovely swirl marks from a dirty sponge in my pristine paint work.

Lol, I guess so. I didn't even know they were going to do it, so couldn't ask them not to. Fair play to them though it was done real nicely, it was spotless. Pretty sure they gave the inside a little going over too.

I had the bonnet catch recall done today and they also did another recall for a coolant hose, added some insulation or something like that from the brief description I got.
Was happy that they also cleaned the car and vacuumed it out, it needed doing!! They also gave me an Autoglym cleaning pack (it's even got Seat logo on the box!) and contains 325ml bodywork shampoo conditioner and 325ml super resin polish, nice touch from Bristol Street, Derby

Had mine done today. You can see that there's more of a gap between the handle and the side of the housing. Also got a pack of Autoglym for my troubles from SMC County Garage. Never got so much as a thank you from VW when I had to keep taking my Polo in for various jobs, so this was a welcome surprise when I picked my car up.

And then it was MY12 where the accountants took over and it lost the rear speakers, middle headrest, passenger seat height adjustment etc. |

I had a letter last weekend. Had issues with radio so the bonnet release issue was sorted at the same time when the car was in last week.
