Mk1 leon front mount

Hi folks i have a front mount i bought for my bora but when i sold the car i kept the intercooler for the leon but it doesn't have a hole for the pressure sensor was wondering if it will be ok screwed into one of the boost pipes or will i have to buy a pipe to take the sensor

I've seen threads where the tuner has used arlidite to glue the sensor into place. Your going to have to get new pipe work for the fmic. Would there not be a section to accomadate the sensor supplied to you. Or if you don't mind butchering your old pipe work then try and incorporate the original section that take the boost sensor with the new pipe work. I know where the boost sensor goes on the mk1 leon tdi but I can't remember if it preceeds the follows or is fiited to the intercooler or what not. I just assumed it was a diesel you were referring to, your post didn't say.

Sorry intercooler is universal was on my bora tdi and i now plan on putting it on my 1.8t leon i just drilled a hole in one of the pipes when i put it on the bora was just wondering if there was an easier and tidier way of doing it as when fitted to the bora the sensor was scabby looking

Trying to incorporae the original mounting point would probably be the tidiest way to do it. Next would be neat whole, plenty of arlidite and a steady hand. Apart from that I haven't done one so it's time for someone with a 1.8t to step up and advise.
