Chrome grill surround

In the mean time before I order the cupra one with a black surround, does the chrome pop off on the grill so I can paint it black, really just for a temporary solution, wanting the cupra one as it won't chip and save hassel in the long run

Believe it does mate but another option would be to plasti dip it! It's great stuff and very durable it will withstand a pressure washer at point blank range yet will peel of if necessary

Ideal, prefer to just buy the proper thing. Will paint it for the mean time

It does come off, start at the top and slowly prise it off working round both sides at the same time. I took mine off and wrapped it in black vinyl.

Yep just taken one off a spare grill just take your time the top three tabs are a bit of a pain to get out but you will be fine
