Mk2 Cupra Clutch Issues

Hi, so my 2011 Cupra went to the main dealers for a cam belt and water pump change + aircon service on Friday, this is following a major service inc brake fluid change about two weeks ago, i did notice on the way home on Friday night the clutch pedal sticking slightly at the top of its travel,
but otherwise drove great was too late to speak to garage by that point anyway, the issue slipped my mind and the car didn't move on Saturday, get to this morning and the clutch pedal goes straight to the floor

just wondering if anyone can offer any insight into what this is likely to be?, a common issue with the mk2?, something the garage has or hasn't done? or just bad timing?

Hi I know it's off topic but how much was your timing belt abd water pump change I'm due one shortly cheers

SEAT dealers charge a set fee of £459 on the 2.0 petrol engines if you have the cambelt and water pump replaced together at the same time.

On the 1.6 TDI the cost is £529 for the cambelt and water pump. In fact that's the same price I paid on my 2.0 TDI a couple on months ago so I guess it's just a standard price band regardless of engine size. The diesels are always more expensive than the petrols for cambelt and water pump changes.

I did look at getting mine done by an independent specialist but it was only about £40-50 cheaper and the warranty period on the parts was only 2 years. If you get a SEAT dealer to do it you get 5 year warranty on the parts so I just decided to get mine done at a main dealer in the end.

Cheers appreciate the info mines needs done later in the year I should have pushed for them to do it when I bought the car but never realised it was a belt instead of the chain
