Has anybody done this ? I've heard that the threads of the housing are known to step when you keep checking for wear on the cam follower. Or is this bullshit and just replace the standard bolts every time you check ?
Makes follower checking and changing much harder to do. Threads are fine if you dont overtighten and strip them, mine have been in and out a dozen plus times over the years - no issue
