First of all Hello everyone!!!!
Here goes,
I bought a leon tdi 140 6 weeks ago. I only had the car a few days before getting some work done including timing belt and water pump replaced.
On idle there seems to be no problem however under load water is coming out the water bottle. Ive replaced the water bottle and the water pump is a genuine part. The egr valve has been deleted and the cooler bypassed. My mechanic tells me he thinks its the head causing the over pressure.
Ive located another BKD engine from a breakers but its from a manual car whereas mine has the dsg gearbox.
My question is will the new manual bkd engine go straight in and fit my dsg box or do I need to locate a bkd but from an automatic car?
