The piston in the APR pump is a wider diameter than the auto tech one so it should be stronger too

I think you need to go back to school and work on your maths :p

not that much of a saving :shrug:

how much are the auto tech internals? £324 on awesome GTI.

APR rebuild is £478 incl labour

so it costs £150 more and they build it for you?

Really not much in it....:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

awesome gti are a rip off, i got my autotech internals brand new from PSI tuning for £300 and why the **** would i want a rebuild id want new which is £800+.

so yes id save £500.

think your one needing maths lessons richie. :lol:

so id be off the road until i receive my rebuilt one back?

like I said, I DUNNO!

Not sure whether they do it in house or whether they send them off to be rebuilt

I have a spare standard OEM HPFP lying about that I will just get them to rebuild, so I don't have to worry about that ;)

so your input as usual means...............fek all.

to the op, Autotech is no worse than APR or Loba its just a case of taking care when rebuilding the HPFP.

so how long does that take?

On there website it says they clean, rebuild in-house and post back the same / next day. Not a disaster being without the car for a week I suppose.

After reading all this I think il just pie the hassle and get a new Loba one now myself, like the thought of having the original spare as well and at £540 its not that much more than a rebuild...
