Got a leon cr170 and want to upgrade my alloys from 17s to 18s and a remap. Just wondering what would be the best to get first...

I heard somewhere it's best to get the remap second as car drives different after new alloys

As above, it's your choice really!

Weren't you thinking about changing the exhaust too?

If it were my choice, then given that 18s and decent tyres will cost at least double what a remap would cost I'd do the remap first.

Thinking about it - didn't you also post recently about your cambelt being due?

Lol thanks for the advice, got lots to do and just re planning everything and getting info first. Gonna go for cambelt, remap, alloys then exhaust. It's gonna be an expensive few months

Unless your getting a custom remap, you can fit the exhaust later. the ECU will adapt eventually for the different values that the exhaust might change.

I'm always for performance first, and the remap is best bang for your buck.
