Passenger door won't open on fob mk2 leon?

Hi all first off hope you all had a great christmas!
Iv had my leon 1.6 referance for a month tge door was opening fine after pressing fob a few times not just once for drivers door. All of a sudden no matter how many times i press fob the passenger door will not open not even of the centre console with the unlock button??

If you mean how much is VCDS then for the genuine kit it is either £210 (Micro-CAN cable) or £270 (HEX-USB+CAN cable) which comes with full support and free updates. Or you can get knock-off Chinese copies for £20-50 that are unsupported, can never be updated and come with the risk that they may just stop working.

Alternatively you could just go to a VAG dealer / specialist and get them to do a diagnostics scan on your car, or you could try and find another member local to you who has VCDS and will do a scan for you for some beer tokens.

If you mean how much is a replacement door locking mechanism (assuming it ends up needing one) then new ones are ~£120.

Cheers mate thats great info but bad news for me im thinking of going to ross tech and getting the software as i think i could use it myself but my car is still under AA dealer warranty and im hoping they will fix this problem
