Starts up then cuts out SAFE warning message

Hi all,

I did search the forum and also googled this to try and figure it out, but no luck.

Basically as above, I turn the car on - it turns over but then cuts out almost straight away

The SAFE message comes up where the mileage trip counter is.

I also noticed there's a high pitched kind of beep sound coming from the engine bay after this happens?

I can't find anything in the manual either which suggests what this might be, any ideas?

My mistake - was in a bit of a rush when I looked as I was late for work - I was probably looking in the wrong place.

Thanks for the heads up - any idea on what the best course of action is? Should I just get a new key programmed or is it worth taking it to the garage first?
