Nice one pal. That does sit well with the 20mm. Looks like you've been busy. Nice work.

Haven't updated in a while, bought a polo gti since to break too.

The pipes went on and then this happened.

Wrinkle black cylinder head cover fitted with new inner and outer seals and 4x new Bosch plugs. Sorry ab the rubbish photos and the missing trim from I front of the inlet manifold, if anyone could help me out with this I'd much appreciate it. Got a shark fin aerial on its way, and possibly a new steering wheel! I'm away again too which is rubbish but when I'm home I'm planning a welly cooler figment, and poly bushed wishbones, new ball joints and top mounts+bearings. I've bought a push bike for work to save some miles and fuel on the car too, just a GT Chucker but it's ideal for the 2 mile ride to work. Cheers.

Mot passed with no advisories, and 6 months tax purchased. That's tax, mot and insurance this month :(. Won't be using this as much as I did a quote on Harriet's Mini, her as main and me as a named driver and it's £200 cheaper! Welly cooler will be being purchased in April, fitted the end of if all goes to plan. Then a few little bits and it'll be stage2 time!

Cheers, I've got so much I need to do to mine to get it how I want, mostly the paint! It'll be roughly standard I reckon, maybe a little over due to the intake gains?

The only measurement it know of for the filter is the maf size measurement, which is 80mm. I bought it from eBay and it was £43.99 I think. The finish is actually really good from what you can see, ( didn't paint the back of calliper) I stripped nearly all of the paint off the callipers and reprinted, left a day and went for a drive to warm them up nicely then sanded the rough spots, put the stickers on and lacquered. I did about 6 coats of vht red and about 8 coats of lacquer. The decals are meant to be for a 350z, so a little bigger but don't look bad. Rears were done in a day, so not as good a finish but massively better than pink, also lacquered.

Josh's MK1 LCR (And 1.6 16v) 3rd car pending!

Well the bike lessons are going well, should be taking M1 at the end of this month. My wellycooler was waiting for me when I got home!

Also bought some oem Toledo mats the other day .

Also turns out my brother wants to tease me and had one of these on the drive when I got home.... I doubt many people get the choice of probably the 2 best mk4 platform cars to drive to work in !

Bought this because I'm an Airmax fan, ran out of smell after about 5. Minutes though.

I don't know if everyone will like this but it's my way of showing respect.

Quick wash and polish yesterday.

Had a road trip to Swindon yesterday, I'm going to attempt to fit it in a minute!

Wellycooler will be fitted when I'm back at work with access to a welder etc.

Mine is quite low to be honest, got the cooler to do but I can't be bothered! How's yours coming along any way, let me know when you're free and I'll pop up?

Bike theory passed today!
Some rubbish news though, I don't think I'll be buying a bike any time soon and also I don't know if I should keep the LCR. We are starting to look at houses and I look at the car and go over how much money I've spent and I don't like it! If my next updates is the intercooler hoses then it'll stay but if it's me selling the wellycooler then it's going :(

Well that's module 1 passed on Wednesday, 0 riding faults cheers then. Also, took a trip to forge to price up the pipe work for my cooler and they did me a cash price I couldn't refuse as I'm there a lot! Did a dv relocate and fitted both forge upper boost hoses. 007p flutters now though. So, everything's in place for the cooler to be fitted this week at work, even the push bike to ride to work on when she's in bits. Also decided she's staying :) as we can quite comfortably afford to buy a house and keep both cars!

Well, the wellycooler is on. Boost's more now, thought it'd lag but I'm not moaning.
This was the first night, spent about 2 hours getting the bumper off and some other stuff.

Got it at the height I wanted.

Upper brackets made.

Lower brackets made.

Slam bar cut and welded back together for safety, was sprayed matt black after this.

Everything sprayed black and fitted properly, O/s pipework.

N/s pipework.

All was buttoned up and made sort of road worthy, didn't go on a public highway without the bumper I just wanted to give it some beans to make sure it didn't blow any pipes.

All done, had to trim the bumper quite a lot to get the pipes fitted nicely, I think I mounted it a little low really. Oh well, I can put a cold feed to the induction in the o/s fog grill.

Went quite well really. I apologise for the rubbish pictures too, still not got a decent camera. Cheers to everyone who has done guides previously too. Forgot to say, she now has all red rears :). Next stage is an oil change, and to clean the oil pick up. Then, *sometime* stage2 with Bill. Don't know when this'll be yet as we're looking at houses, found a nice 3 bed semi with 2 parking spaces and a GARAGE well within our price range so I think we'll end up with that, watch this space. No doubt I'll put some throbbing pictures of my car outside our house haha. Any way, needs 4x wishbone bushes and 2x arb bushes next month as I'm off to Germany tomorrow.
