that doesn't look good dude how would that of happened? looks like its in good hands 
No not great, still not 100%. Most likely too much power for stock pistons, and possibly detonation as upper con rod shells were showing signs of wear.
Good news is the block is ok and the oil pick up looks brand new, so no oil starvation issues. Only been off the road a week and I'm itching to get back driving it haha

Just fitted the facelift climate control panel today, will be getting it sprayed/wrapped in gloss black next month!

Looks smart with the satnav, is yours not a facelift model as it's got the bigger mfd instrument panel? That's what I'd like for mine as you can get the polar fis for it which is awesome!

The pre facelifts came with small and large mfd's. Mine and my brothers both have large mfd's.

It's going painfully slow, done 100 miles and first oil and filter, up to 150 miles on 2nd oil change so 350 miles left. I worked out if i drive to bridport and back everyday this week it'll be ready for the weekend haha!
