LCR/cupra cruise control

i wana fit cruise control to my LCR (so any help will be much apperaited)(sp)
has anyone fitted cruise control kit part number 1j0998527a to there car
kit contains loom and stalk
is it any good and is it easy to retro fit

or any other retro cruise control kit that ill work and any info on how to do it,
is there a guide?

Was thinking about this myself, picked the car up AGAIN from the dealers today thought id ask them for a quote nearly died £240
so i dont think i will be having it done there LoL

the kit is only about 55 odd quid + VAT
the wiring must be quite tricky then?

i believe the tdi's are pre programed and have an extra loom the petrols dont!!
im lead to believe tdi's just need the kit and then softwear upgrade to ECU

petrol ones need an extra loom made up to ECU plus softwear??
can anyone confirm please :)

oh ok so need a kit plus the loom for the lcr whats fitting like im capable as im a peugeot tech its just getting round to it

I had my TDI done at JBS. I supplied the parts and they fitted, although i've heard it is a job you can DIY if your carefull to follow guides correctly.
Activation takes mins to do with vagcom, just need to select the right block and activate it.
The petrol ones aren't as simple to do as they are not factory fitted with the second loom that the TDI has (for some reason) so theres some added expense and time there. Probably why the quote from SEAT was so high.
