Vibrating noise.

Maybe something is loose in the engine bay? or just in the car.

At different RPM, the engine's vibration can cause various adjacent things to vibrate in the same way and sometimes amplify ( called resonance).

What sort of vibration do you get? Which gear did you notice it?

Try pulling the windows down and getting to 4000rpm in 2 different gears. Like 1st and second, probably the easiest.

If you hear it in the one gear and not the other, then that's still the engine's vibration transferred to the car. Different gears will make the engine have a different vibration.
