Hi, have bought a 08 Altea XL Stylance, 2.0 170bhp. It's cheap and cheerful but will do as a family daily for few years, the extra room will be useful too.
Hopefully get the car on Saturday as dealer has a timing belt to put into it.
On researching spec and options on google I came across this forum a few times.
Immediate plans are to get rid of standard stereo and fit a double din CarPlay with DAB radio, and possibly reverse camera.
Have contemplated doing something with front grille but not 100% sure about a honeycomb one without the seat badge. Also thought about lowering but will see how it goes for a while
