Garmin Issues

Hi all

My wife has a 15 reg FR 1.2 with the Garmin headunit but has lots of issues with it breaking up and cutting in and out when in phone etc, it's been back to main dealer 3 times but they say they have nothing but problems with the Garmin setup's!

My question is can i retrofit a new aftermarket headunit to ditch all this Garmin rubbish?

Does this happen with all phones?

It'd be a big expense to spend on the car if the Bluetooth module on the phone is at fault.

The Seat Portable (Garmin) in our 15 reg Ibiza has been faultless.

I've had no issues with mine in over three years with several phones.
